Driving through the county and looking for the best Fort Bend County neighborhoods, one can find just about any criteria to fit their hopes and home- owning aspirations. Naturally, not everyone will find their own personal utopia here, but the best Fort Bend County neighborhoods that fill these streets are there for anyone who wishes to make one of them home.

This is not a county that slapped up homes and called it a neighborhood, but a county that put thought and consideration into creating one of the best places to live in the United States. Technically speaking, any house can be a home if it is a place of security. Naturally, I am not made of money and could not buy a home in each of the 12 best neighborhoods, but I could spend some time in each of them and determine what about these places made them so special.

Homes were originally a place of shelter that weren t even necessarily filled with any type of convenience. Light was minimal and there weren t even what we would consider actual beds on the premises. If you needed to use the facilities, you had to leave the shelter. However, it was still a definite step up from living in a cave. They give safety and security a walled definition. Today, homes are more than just mere shelter. What goes on in a person s home is private, and hopefully, personal, quite good.

A home is a statement of wealth, of personal taste, or lack thereof and style, or lack thereof. We say that a home has the memories of everyone who lived and loved within the walls etched into its foundation. A home is where hopes and dreams are built and lived in. There are good neighborhoods and there are not so good neighborhoods. When you place a bunch of these homes into one general area, we call this a neighborhood. By today s standards, if a person can walk down the street at night in relative safety, we call this a good neighborhood. When you are describing one of the best Fort Bend County neighborhoods, you are really talking about quality of life.

But what makes one of the best Fort Bend County neighborhoods is so much more than simply walking down the street in relative safety. When a neighborhood can help push the quality of an individual s life forward and upward, then you literally end up with an intangible positive reaction throughout the entire neighborhood. Thus, finding the best Fort Bend County neighborhood is really about personal intuition and what really works for the individual. When people know they are accepted and feel a sense of obligation and loyalty toward their neighborhood, then there is an automatic desire to continuously keep the neighborhood at its best. Some neighborhoods are more liberal than others while some neighborhoods want to keep things at a tighter level of operation. Not every neighborhood is going to work for everyone, but there is no doubt that finding the best Fort Bend County neighborhoods that matches your individual expectations of what a real neighborhood should be, you will fall instantly in love with the area, and the people, the homes who call them their shelter. When a group of people feel a sense of synergy and basic thought compliance with each other, neighborhoods really excel into exciting and wonderful places to live.

Thankfully, we all have a choice when it comes to determining our own neighborhood and the way we choose to live our lives. After all, every last one of us is here to try to make the world a better place to live. When I see the best Fort Bend County neighborhoods listed on websites and in those competitive lists of where one can find the best place to live catalogues, I feel a sense of pride that extends to the people around me. And of course, the best place to start is right at home.
